I wanted to send you this because I wanted to tell you that we are behind you with this all the way. From what I heard from Mrs. Niss, you seem like a strong and optimistic person. I know it must be hard for you but that is why we are helping you out.

My daughter who also has CF had a double-lung transplant on March 13, 2007. We waited two years & the wait was worth it. Amber had her transplant in Pittsburgh & she is doing wonderful. She also required a kidney transplant (due to the anti-rejection meds. & a med. she was on prior to transplant)which I donated to her on July 2, 2007. She did a great job through both transplants & is now able to do so much more than before the transplants. She no longer needs oxygen, breathing treatments & I.V.'s.
